System Requirements:

• Install a new central ducted air-source heat pump integrated with a compatible high-efficiency gas furnace.

• The system must operate with a single thermostat/control panel.

• The heat pump must be listed on Fortis BC’s eligible product list.

Home Eligibility:

• The home must be a year-round primary residence that is at least 12 months old.

• Eligible homes include single-family homes, duplexes, triplexes, row homes, townhouses, or mobile homes on a permanent foundation.

• The existing gas furnace must be at least 10 years old and serve as the primary heat source being replaced.

Installation Requirements:

• Must be completed by a Technical Safety BC-licensed gas contractor who is also an HPCN member (Ed Rosse is Qualified)

• A heat load calculation is required to ensure the system is properly sized.

• The system must comply with outdoor temperature switch-over requirements specific to the region.

Additional Bonuses:
